Problem, MES 1.5 / IAW 1AF / reading live data

Post by deva »

Hello,

Interface kkl / vagcom 409.1 + 3-pin adapter, ecu IAW 1AF (bravo 1.6 16v, 1997.), mes 1.5 registered. I can do everithing except reading live data. When engine is running there is no connection to ecu (I get message: com port acess denied) or if I try to start engine after I got connected to ecu two messeges pop up: multiecuscan encountered a problem and must close and com port acess denied.

Please tell me if it is a bug in software or am I doing something wrong.

Hello

If you have a connection to your ECU and then starts the motor test may abort the connection, then there is a timing problem in the connection.

In the normal case, but this is remedied with a new connection.
If a connection in individual cases is not possible then
Is almost always resolved with a reboot of the MES.
