Then you should see that you need a bag for the KKL interface and the corresponding Adapter2

We needed for steering the ELM without an adapter but I can not say whether this mini ELM 327, CAN can read with MES.
I have to check yet

To come to your ABS you need a KKL or ELM and adapter 1

first i thank you for your replay, i bought those 2 and all i got from scan DTC is Bosch engine, i have read that there is a modification should be made, so if any pls advise
like removing R4

so why it can not detect the power steering or ABS, it only detect the engine
what about VAG-KKL? should i remove R4 from this 1 ?

Have you used the ABS connection, an adapter cable?
Without modified interface or an adapter cable 1 you can not establish a connection ABS.

The steering is read via CAN! This does not require adapter cable is required.
You can not connect to it for CAN info or CAN setup ?

Hello to all.

I read the thread before I bought a elm327 to connect my alfa romeo 147 jtd 1.9 2002.
I bought a modified version here : http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 1182146124 so I would not have to woory about opening it and figuring all out.

Guess what ? It does not work entirelly.

In multiECUscan, port com3 at 38400, everything is OK on the tests. (I set up the com port at 38400 also, and latency to 1)
In multiECUscan,I can access Engine and ABS all right, but nothing else, even with the yellow and red adaptors.

I woudl think the elm is not modify, but I have no idea how to open it without destroying it.
The seller (very good rep) says it is modifyed. What should I do ?

i bought those 2 interfaces without any adapters, so what i can do to access to power steering and air bag ?
