ELM Bluetooth with new PCB

Post by AleXXander »

Hi all, this is my first post here !

I'm italian and I own Grande Punto 1.9 Mjet sport of november 2005 (I think the first batch produced from fiat); I've spent a lot of time reading the forum, and now I have this bluetooth interface:

It works great with android phone but I've tried with a laptop from a friend with multiecuscan registered and it works only for reading engine parameters and tests, using the type 3 adaptor it won't works and i can't connect to any other module...after opening the ELM I found a never seen PCB so I'm trying to understand if I have to remove the resistor (if there is...) this is the pcb:

Hello

Then remove the resistor in the red circle, should your ELM can read the CAN bus.
Only for the control of your Grande Punto are named C19.
You'll need an adapter for the CAN to switch lines to the interface.

Greetings Eddy
