Alfa 159 injector coding issues

Hi There,

I recently had to replace a faulty injector in my 2006 Alfa 159 2.4 JTDm (200bhp)

Once i put the new injector in, I tried to change the code using a registered version of FES. but every time I change it, the stored code always remains the same as the original (broken) injector. I have tried over 10 times, it always doesn't work.

To clarify, FES reports success, but when i re-read the ECU the injector code is still the old one.

Can someone please help?

Hi mzhussein,

Are you using ELM327 for doing this? If yes I inform you that my expirience is that injector coding with ELM is not a good solution.
For doing this I use VAG 409 cable with good results.
