Re: Proxy Alignment Alfa 147 JTDm
Yes Multiecuscan will do it but needs to be a licensed copy. Free version only has limited functionality. I use a cantie car dongle so can’t remember which colour lead you need to use. Go the Gendan website the info is all on there. https://m.gendan.co.uk/product_FESCBL.html Thanks, that's great. Y...

Proxy Alignment Alfa 147 JTDm
Hello all,
Apologies if this question has been asked before, but couldn't find it in search........ I have an Alfa 147 JTDm 16v and want to do a proxy alignment due to an ABS issue (DTC C1036). Is MES able to do this and, if so, how do I go about it?
Thanks in advance

The Usual ABS/VDC Lights
Hi all, My Alfa 147 has thrown up the common issue with ABS/VDC lights coming on. It happens with the ignition on, before engine is started and doesn't go off. I want MES to tell me which sensor is faulty but I don't know how to interrogate the correct ECU. I have the different coloured adapters but...

Re: Alfa 147 Interior Lights Issue
Thanks, that answers my question..... If I can tell MES to turn on/off the lights then that'll be a big help, just couldn't find the correct actuator as they seem engine related. There is no fuse in that circuit so if it is a feed issue then I'll just run a new wire up the A-pillar.

Alfa 147 Interior Lights Issue
Hello, My 147's interior courtesy lights have stopped working, except the one in the boot. They can't be turned on manually either. Bulbs are okay, it's the lack of 12v feed that's the problem. Is MES able to look for the source of the problem? I've got a modified ELM cable with several adapters. TIA

Re: Interface Question - Alfa 147
That's really helpful, thanks. Will any decent extension cable work? I ask because I had to buy a modified ELM to suit the car so does it follow that I'd also need to buy a modified extension?
Apologies if that's a daft question but I'm new to MES!

Interface Question - Alfa 147
Hello,
In order to access my car's OBD port I have to remove some trim. To speed things up a bit, is it okay to leave the ELM interface plugged in to the port and feed it out so I can keep the trim on all the time? Just means I can plug the laptop in much more easily.
TIA
