Problem Proxy - Grande Punto
So I had this strange problem today. The owner of Grande Punto t-jet I was working on had removed the original radio receiver and replaced it with aftermarket unit. Because of that the odometer was flashing. So I tried to make a proxy alignment. But when I tried to connect to CAN proxy unit first th...

Re: Odometer 0,0 on multiple AR156 1.9 JTD 2002
Disagree all that you want, but I have tested this on few hundred cars, and it is always the same. If you have EDC16 JTD of older year, up to 2008 it will show different number than on dashboard, but the number will change as you drive. If it is an updated ECU software or 2008+ car then Odometer sho...

Re: Odometer 0,0 on multiple AR156 1.9 JTD 2002
If you see 0.0km then this is a sign of playing with odomter on the dashboard. 100% If you see a funny number that is not similar to that one on the dashboard, then don't worry, that is a bug in ECU software. That is very common on 2003-2008 JTDs with EDC16 ECU. There is a software update that solve...

Re: Desired intake air quantity from 1099.3 to 1053 all the
I'm 99% sure that this is problem of a remap.
He probably adjusted all values in the EGR map to highest value, and didnt use the "switch" to disable EGR...

Re: 2.0 JTDm EGT sensor
I used MES to read turbo and DPF error codes... Turbo inlet temp is the same as EGT, sensor is located on the exhaust manifold, just before the turbo. Other sensor is located inside DPF filter. But when you go to parameters, you only see DPF filter temperature, EGT or Turbo inlet temperature is miss...

Re: 2.0 JTDm EGT sensor
Me again :D Today I had some time to play with this engine, and there are two sensors. You can see them easily if you lift up the bonnet. One is mounted on exhaust manifold, and other on particle filter. Both connectors are easily accessible. So I tried to disconnect one and another. If I disconnect...

Re: alfa 156 2.4 jtd desired boost pressure 0
Your car does not use electronic boost control. It is controlled mechanically... so there is no need for "desired boost".

2.0 JTDm EGT sensor
Hi yani...
2.0JTDm EURO5 engine should be equipped with EGT sensor (it measures exhaust temperature, mounted on the exhaust manifold before turbo), but in MES the only sensor available is particle filter temperature sensor.
Could you check if there is any option to enable this?
Thanks!

Re: 1.9 JTD DPF regeneration Possible?
There never was an EDC15 engine inside Croma.
All diesel engines in Croma are fitted with EDC16C39.
