I use MES 5.2 on my Mac Book Pro.

It is only possible by installing a Parallels Desktop Windows Virtual Machine. There is no Mac-native version of MES

I always get an ABS error when I do an MES DTC scan of my Fiat or my Alfa Romeo.

The error is temporary and it doesn't concern me and the DTC scan gives valid results.

Does the car have a Security GateWay (SGW)? A 2019 car is likely to.

The SGW might prevent the procedure.

Unlikely to have any advantage over the Multiplex (CANTieCar) version of MES, I suggest.

For several months and before MES5.2 whenever I attempt to send a DTC Scan report from MES I get a send failed message.

As my previous post, the security gateway in the 500e prevents MES clearing DTCs or making changes in the 500e. this isn't an MES bug and I see no hope for things improving.

My understanding is than in the latest FCA cars, eg 500e and AR Tonale, their SGW is built into the Body Control Module and is no longer an independent unit capable of being by-passed. If not, there must be some other fault causing the error.
What, if any, other errors is MES reporting?
