You could use a scripted player that activates a trigger when a key is down:
If IsKeyDownwhich ever key

ActivateTriggername of trigger;

how to enable the console? -console doesnt work.

Can you give it a try with the latest installer? I havent had time to test it myself but you should now be able to use PerlMagick again.
