Re: New MY20 Ducato 2.3 180, MES compatibly
I haven't tried MES on a vehicle with the SGW, so I don't know what happens. But when I bought my Euro 5+ van back in 2016, it s build had been delayed due to a factory shutdown, and when it came through it turned out to be an amalgamation of Euro 5+ and Euro 6 parts in some areas. ECUs that were to...

Re: Definition of EOL OK?
As I understand it, it is a function of the network architecture employed by FCA. The master vehicle configuration is stored in the BCM, but several other ECUs store a copy of the configuration file. When you change the BCM configuration and complete a proxi-alignment, the main BCM file is copied to...

Re: Service reset not posible with elm327
I have a cheap ELM adapter that works on both of our cars, but won't connect to the Ducato through the adaptor cables. I bought an OBDKey ELM adapter and it works fine. There are a lot of Chinese ELM327 adapters that won't connect through MES or AlfaOBD. This topic will explain further: http://forum...

MES requires admin privilege to run on Win 7 & 10
Hello, I have been running MES on a Win XP laptop for quite a while, and it runs from a standard user account without elevation. I have just installed Windows 7 on the machine as it is a minimum requirement for other software that I now need to run, but now MES prompts for the admin password via UAC...

Re: can-bus issues
Hello Rolf, The Unknown/Unsupported dashboard module simply means that Multiecuscan does not recognise the module, which I suspect is the radio unit. This is possibly because it is a North American vehicle specific radio which has not been added to MES. The same would most likely apply to the engine...

Re: ODO blinking after proxi alignment fiat bravo 13
the purpose of aligning in the first place isnt to stop the blinking odometer after installing ANY aftermaket radio? No, it is to copy the configuration of the vehicle as defined in the Body Control Module to other ECUs on the vehicle that need the information for correct operation of the vehicle n...

Re: ODO blinking after proxi alignment fiat bravo 13
At the risk of stating the obvious, change it back to the previous setting and proxy align again! it only fixes it if I keep radionav and B&M plugged in, but the purpose is to change the radio Then there is a configuration mismatch between the vehicle and the radio, or the radio is not compatib...
