this is the elm327 and also let know what software i can use because i used a quit a few and they cannot connect to the ecu thanks

I got this elm327 bluetooth it pair and connect but I get error saying that cannot connect to the ecu,does anyone knows how to fix this problem should I. Remove the r04 resistor thanks
