Yes the ignition was on. I even tried starting the car with no results.
I've already tried several times to disconnect all cables, reconnect them and reinstall drivers, and restart MultiEcuScan. Always the same result.

I've installed the FTDI 2.02.04 WHQL driver. In Device Manager it reports as correctly installed and working.
