I do not know whether it was because the KKL/VAG lead was not fully inserted by my daughter on our fiurst attempt last Autumn, or that the COM ports were not configured correctly, whether it was because we selected...

Sincere apologies for the very tardy response. It is a 2004 model. As soon as the computer is connected, and the software activated the 'ECU not found' response is immediate. Hopefully I will try it again, this weekend, when my daughter brings home her laptop.

I have connected my laptop and selected a car from the list but no matter which vehicle I select it returns 'ECU not found'. My 1.2 Active 8v is not listed thus I am choosing any vehicle on the list.

Has anybody any knowledge of how to overcome this prob lem please?
