Re: FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)
Does your switch to a high internal resistor?? Hi Alfaeddy, finallly I found the solution! i soldered the wires directly "crossed" and everything worked properly, so I need to trash my switch and find one with a low impedance... You were 100% right..! Thank you, I was finally able to rese...

Re: FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)
Obviously the parts marked with X are the orginal connection that I removed with the Switch introduction, the other components are for the old ELM327, mine has such components already integrated on the back of the board. Now I tried to solder the wirescoming fro the board on pins 5 and 6 directly on...

Re: FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)
So I need to check if the connections between the board and OBD connector. Do you have the correct pinout (from 1 to 8 of the circuit)?
edit.. I found this: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/14/74476962.jpg Could you double check if it is correct? So I will check if it mine is the same.
Thanks!

Re: FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)
It discovers only the ecu and 2 modules (Abs and esp if I remember well).
Regarding the other request, no internal resistors resistors on the switch. Should I try to solder the pins directly crossed on the OBD port, so I will exclude the switch?

Re: FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)
All connections are made properly, I doublechecked them with my multimeter, so the problem is probably the non original elm327?

Re: FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)
Hi Alfaeddy, according to you request on the pin connection, I made new photos on the boards and on the connections so you can see better how the cirquit is composed. Please let me know if you find something wrong on it. On the connector cable there are two green wires coming from the original conne...

No, they just come from the switch and to it they come from the original white cable plate. Should I take a photo of something in particular to show you?

Re: FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)
Thank you for your prompt reply! It is exactly as you explained in the tutorial: in the center the original cables arrive with black insulation, blue insulation is for original configuration, yellow insulation is for yellow cable (type 3). In original mode I am avle to read the ecu and its faults, b...

Re: FAULTY ELM 327 INTERFACES DE-MYSTIFIED (READ HERE)
Hi all, I have an ELM327 V1.3a on USBV3.0 board and when running the test it passes all and says that I should connect properly to any can module, but when I scan the network I find only the BOSH Motronics ME7.9.10, BOSH ABS 8 ESP and the Delphi electric steering. When trying to connect to the dashb...
