Thanks for your reply.
I was just gonna try it an see the improvements for a few months before shelling out on a remap. As long as it won't damage the car and I can see how it performs for a few months.

Driven the car today. It still feels wonderful but the eml light has come on. Is it ok to ignore it if it doesn't bother me or will it cause problems with the engine management?

Hi, Alfa Romeo 147 1.9 16v 2005 I wonder if you can help. I have just blocked off my EGR valve with an EGR blanking plate. No error codes or EML but have not had it remapped out of the ECU. Just wondering the desired air intake quantity is around 300mg/I and the air intake quantity is around 500mm/I...
