Failed to write down the deactivation key
Hi. I tried to deactivate MES 1.8 and move it to my new laptop but after I clicked the Deactivate button I received a message that a free version can be active only 20 minutes. Clicked OK and the MES was closed. So I lost my deactivation key. What to do now?

In my case there was not cable on pin 41. I had to make a new cable link. And yes the conector is on the rear side of the body.

This is so called "clock spring cable", but here it's integrated with the stalk unit. In my case this cable was the reason to start the CC project. I lost left buttons first, then right buttons and finally the Airbag. The cable was broken apart and no repairable. The CC stalk unit is only ...

Activated and fully functional except the dashboard led indication.
The problem was weak cable connection on Pin 41.

My problem is the same. I did everything but the CC is not functional after the PROXY. The final step is to open the body and check for missing components. Didn't have time during holidays but I'll write here when I have more information.
