I have brought the software now but still can't connect to the engine module message is - no ecu found - check cables and port settings. But I can connect to Can Info fine and also the other ones under abs, steering etc come back with need red adapter to connect so I am positive everything is set up...

Mine is year 2000 so comes under the 99 1.2 16v category. The test and the scan come back as fine but the scan dtc is greyed out whether its connected or not.
