The ABS Module needs Adapter 1 in order to successfully connect to it. For the engine, I observed that ELM had trouble connecting at 38400 baud and I was only successful at connecting at 9600 baud rate. Try that. Hi, im trying to connect to a 159 1.9jtdm and im having trouble connecting to the engine and ABS ecu's. Im able to connect to all the others with no problems, im using the ELM 327 1.3+ cable.
Has anyone else had this issue and any pointers would be apperiated
