I followed Yani's instructions by soldering capacitors and resistors into the circuit and my lead now works perfectly.

Hello Eddy, thanks for your reply. I've just tested the ELM327 using the F9 'Settings' function, and got the result " This interface is compatible with ELM 327 1.4! Should connect properly with all CAN modules. " I am puzzled why it works with the engine ECU, and no others. Greetings, Darr...

Hi there, I have a registered (E49.95) version of FES and am using an ELM327 cable. My car is a 2004 Punto 1.2 8v. I believe that all the ECUs can be read from the one OBD2 socket, in the fusebox near the driver's knee. I can connect to the engine ECU, but no others. I get the error message 'ELM327 ...
