If I've follwed this thread correctly you have not tried what Yani suggested. That is writing a mileage to the new lower mileage clocks. All you seem to have done is swop them around and executed a proxy alignment. Put your new 27nn mile clock back in Then try to set it to 27nn + 1 (e.g. 2788 to 27...

put my old clocks back in they're not flashing and are displaying over 47k miles now, looks like it's added both the clocks mileage together, i'll not be happy if my car has gained a few k miles :( Is it definitely displaying miles, or has it dropped back to km? hi, it's deffinitely in miles, shoul...

Proxi aligned clocks, stopped flashing but still wrong miles
hi all,
as title, bought the full version and an ELM327 cable, connected all fine went through the procedure, the dash stopped flashing but the mileage on the clocks is still what it was when i bought it, 2700 ish, my car is on 44k.
(2001 mk2 punto 8v)
