Hi. I'm unable to connect to ZF 4HP20 through Bluetooth ELM 1.4. It works with OBDKey USB cable. All the other ECU's in my car (Engine, Xenon, ABS, Airbag) work with both devices . I can confirm that '03 166 3.0 connects OK through an adapter. Without the adapter it doesn't work.

Hi. From version 3.2 automatic transmission ZF 4HP20 is supported. The connection worked great on my 166 2004 with adapter cable A1 and KKL. With ELM/A1 bluetooth I couldn't make it work. Great, that now ZF 4HP20 is supported! I can't understand, if an adapter cable is needed for gearbox?
Under Supported Vehicles it states: KL ELM OBDKey A1
So is ELM/KL OK? Or we really need KL1 ELM1 (with A1 cable)
