Re: What causes low Actual Air Intake Quantity on 115JTD
No they are fine. I am told that it is a bug in Bosch's software in the ecu and until I find a way to upgrade it I will have to live with it. I could probably get Fiat Examiner to do it but dont have that sort of money. Am looking into using my EEprom programmer to clone the chip on the ecu from my ...

Re: What causes low Actual Air Intake Quantity on 115JTD
Hi Coolbits I didn't see your link only the kg/h bit I can't check the ecu software verion becuase the battery is off the car and the intake is in bits. So sanscorp is not the only one who has been sent on a wild goose chase! The problem is that my figure is 32.2 kg/h? not the 48-50 mentioned. I hav...

Re: What causes low Actual Air Intake Quantity on 115JTD

What causes low Actual Air Intake Quantity on 115JTD
Hi Old problem: I had a smokey 'throttled' engine but have now found that the intake pipe had come off the intercooler. It now runs fine. New problem: When I use Multiecuscan to check the parameters Actual Intake Air Quantity and Desired Intake Air Quantity, I find that the Actual readings are betwe...

Fiat Multipla ABS Bleeding system after swapping an ABS pump
Hi On the Fiat forum I have read that to bleed the ABS pump you have to use the Fiat Examiner which can open the ABS solenoid valves in sequence allowing each to be bled. Multiecuscan has a similar function! I am asing about this function because I am about to bleed the system after replacing the AB...

Re: How do you remove abs ecu?
Thanks devc I managed to get it off. There was not enough slack in the cable to the main motor so just taking off the ecu was a problem as was replacing. It is done now and I have fitted the replacement ecu off an identical ABS on ebay. Not bad for £35 +£10 delivery. And it now hasnoo errors and is ...

Re: How do you remove abs ecu?
Hi
They say one of the first signs of madness is you start talking to yourself!
Have tried the ABS ecu off my son's Multipla and it works without errors so mine is definitely faulty. RXXXX Bosch
Anyone know how to open the ecu to see whether there is anything 'adrift'
Thanks

Re: How do you remove abs ecu?
Hi
Managed to get the connector off without breaking anything. The solenoid coils do swivel a bit.
Would still welcome comments about the need to replace the ABS ecu.
