According to FES the ABS unit should be Bosch 5.3.Will the EPER SITE WHICH KEEPS CRASHING OUT ON ME TELL ME WHICH UNIT IS IN THE CAR WHEN i PUT THE VIN IN PLEASE?

How does the previous threader (sorry Yani) know what abs unit I have , can someone explain and why cant I access the airbag unit as well, please.

Yes I have that , the three pin and looked at the all the types , but will try the type you quoted.

Looks like from reading on other forums that I will tryand earth out a pin on the three pin plug. Then read the light flashing , is this the only alternative please.

Just nipped out to check with laptop and itsan iso code of 6B 02 25 08 EF that shows briefly, the engine ecu it seams to connect to is Bosch M2 10.3 . It doesn,t like the alternative given which is 10.4 if that is any significance.Many thanks for your input so far by the way ,very much appreciated. ...

I have tried to use the faq's but not getting any where. I am getting an error with invalid ISO code for car so cannot get into the ABS , The car in question is a 2.0 L CF2 ENGINE (ALLOY TOP), There is only one type of ABS 5.3 VERSION, so I cant see whats wrong i have an Interface with three pin ada...

Does anyone know if there is anyone making these switchable 16 pin connectors so that I can use the engine ecu, abs and airbag by switching around when you want to connect to any of them.
