I've removed R04 from my BT Elm327 yesterday and was able to connect straight away with all available nodes.

I think you need registered version of Multiecuscan for all modules and only 3 modules are accessible via elm327 without adapter cables. The resistor you need to remove is R04 which is the one nearest to the connector . Engine should connect regardless of RO4 though. Are you sure you have installed ...

I dont want to break the case or internals by prying them apart.

I bought an ELM327 from Gendan several years ago.
I cannot get it to connect to my Alfa 147jtdm on body computer and several others too.
I got it to do a PROXI alignment last week as i changed the door window switch.

Anyone know why i cant connect to the other modules?
